Wondering who else chose Girl Friday?…
Client
Dr Tom Nicholson PhD - Neurodiversity Expert
Year
2024 - Present
Brief
Tom had been doing public speaking for some time, however had minimal existing branding or online presence, no website and wanted to grow his business. We created a full website for him, with updated branding, used this branding for social media templates & other documents such as invoices and price lists, and set up Google Workspace and Instagram accounts. After the initial project, we now support Tom on a weekly basis looking after his calendar, social media, his influx of emails & queries, and managing leads, bookings and travel arrangements, as well as ad hoc work such as proof-reading, presentation support & anything else that comes up.

Spare Snacks - Scrapples

Brief
Starting out with some minimal admin support, over the years this has grown into a fairly all-encompassing business management arrangement. Some of the tasks & responsibilities include operations, fulfilment, forecasting, reporting, account management, invoicing, marketing, admin, customer support & website management to name but a few. It’s been a privilege to be part of Spare Snacks growth, and watch them work towards their mission of providing healthy snacks to kids across the UK whilst tackling food waste.

Karina Taylor - Personal Stylist

Brief
Karina came to Girl Friday with a clear vision. After being a personal stylist for many years, Karina was re-vamping her packages, updating her tone of voice and wanted new branding and a fresh website to reflect the changes to her business.
We organised a photoshoot with Sarah Hannon to give Karina a bank of images to use, as well as capturing B-roll footage on the day. Then we updated the branding, copy, and finally added all of this together to produce the updated version of Karina’s website as well as a collection of social media templates to use going forward.

Unwind The Mind Wellness

Cass was pivoting from being an event planner, to her new business focussing on midlife women’s wellbeing. While she’d had branding work done elsewhere, Cass had never had an online shop before. We built the Unwind The Mind Wellness Shopify website using the new branding, and along with Cass we filled it with copy in her tone of voice, appealing to her target audience. With bags of experience in subscription boxes under our belt, we set everything up for her product listings as well as giving advice on stock, fulfilment & processes. Cass also wanted to offer digital products, so we helped to bring her vision to life and created a collection of useful resources for her customers. We’re still working with Cass on an on-going basis, working on projects as and when they come up, such as Google Analytics, blogs, SEO, technical support, marketing, and offering advice or guidance whenever she needs it.

Mum Uniform

Brief
The business that started it all… My villain origin story, if you will.
During the first lockdown in 2020, whilst furloughed with a toddler and a key-worker partner, I decided to launch Mum Uniform. After entering a competition run by Lucy Locket Loves who was looking for a budding entrepreneur to help kickstart their business, I launched in March 2020 and it blew up. Once back at my corporate job managing a fleet within a huge commercial property company, I handed my notice in on my first day back after furlough and Mum Uniform continued to grow from there.
Over the course of three years, myself and my amazing assistant Liz, did everything ourselves. Designing, creating, marketing, packing, customer service, accounts, web design - The lot. I had a successful subscription box, designed jewellery, planners, colouring books, leggings made for mums (with pockets!) and more. After a while I began helping other startups with their businesses, and enjoyed this so much more than running my own product business… So, Girl Friday was born.
